Inflammatory Bowel Disorder
Last week, my second child a 13 year old boy was diagnosed with IBD. He has showed severe cases of irregular bowel movements to the extend he will need to to go to the restroom during mealtime. It has been ongoing for several months. My fault for taking it lightly as I thought he has been eating wrongly, until one day he complained for having a bad stomach pain and asking me to bring him to the doctor. So, I did. I had a shock of my life getting to know from the doctor that he is diagnosed with IBD, from all the symptoms he explained. No wonder he look malnourished despite the vitamins he has been taking. To make things harder, there’s no medication except for a change of diet. I feel sad for him. Wish I could have treated him sooner, then it won’t be that bad. He is such a fine young boy.
